Boxes for Today's Marketing

Boxes of all shapes and sizes fight for attention. From shiny foil to garner attention with exquisitely printed, embossed eye-catching graphics, to plain brown kraft with limited graphics. They all have a place in the marketplace.

Today’s boxes have many purposes. From a simple corrugated carton delivering goods, to a luxurious velvet wrapped and highly decorated box created to attract the eye, touch, and sometimes even a scent to captivate the customer. The client dictates the desired result which becomes a blueprint for the design and development process.

The materials used are as diverse as the graphics designed to promote the contents. Brown kraft and recycled papers have found favor in eco-conscious packing along with inks that are more friendly to our planet. Clients often instruct the packaging needs to be splashy to appeal to the customer’s eye but must also be curbside recyclable. Where this used to be a challenge, the print industry has formulated processes, materials and equipment to meet the most demanding project.
